I would argue that Italy is by far my favourite country in Europe. The wine, the food, the sights – the fact that every town, city or lake you visit is boasting with beauty makes travelling around Italy a must do. Whilst so much to see and do in this gorgeous country means it is nearly impossible to choose a favourite place, my mind always sways toward one village in particular when I’m asked that very question. That place is the incredibly beautiful Bellagio, found jutting out into Lake Como, just a couple of hours outside of Milan.
Bellagio is a place that doesn’t need to try and wow it’s visitors, it just does. Whilst there isn’t a great amount to do there, I’d recommend anyone to visit solely based on how quintessentially Italian it is. Below are some photos I took on my trip in 2019 that will make you desperate to visit!
